Trapped nerves
A trapped nerve is another way of describing sciatica and is also sometimes referred to as a slipped disc. All these words mean that there is a back problem which is referring symptoms into the leg and is eminently treatable by a physiotherapist specialising in the treatment of spinal problems. The general training of physiotherapists does not make them a specialist at treating this complicated area, you do need to see someone who can do more than just give a temporary relief of the muscle spasm which is protecting the underlying problem. Kath Hamflett at Barnt Green Physiotherapy has many years of experience of training and treating these problems with excellent results and will be delighted to help you too.
